Seminole Club tags are here. If you want the Florida State tag and you were not part of the first 1,000 applicants, then you can go to your local county tag office and apply for the tag directly through them.
This part is important...You need to tell them you want to apply for the SEMINOLE CLUB tag. Their Classification is "Seminole Club." Their Category Code is "SE."
For the people just receiving tag receipts in the mail from Atlanta Seminole Club, the procedure for getting your tag has changed from everything we have communicated to you. What you need to do now is take the tag receipt and the Relinquishment form that we mailed to you to your local tag office. Take your tag in with you too. Tell them you want to order your Seminole Club tag and pay the $25 Specialty Tag Fee. They will issue you a "temporary operating permit" as your tag. They will mail your Seminole Club tag to your home address to arrive in a few days. (Make sure they have your correct mailing address.) You can do this now or you can wait until your regular tag renewal. If you wait, please make sure you hang onto that tag receipt and relinquishment form. If those are lost, they cannot be replaced. Atlanta Seminole Club mailed the tag receipts last week with the final group of receipts going in Friday's (10/16/09) mail. You should have them by Monday 10/19/09.
For those of you who got your application to the state through us on time, the State has not mailed your tag receipts. The short story is someone did not do their job. The Dept of Revenue should be mailing your tag receipts this week (week of 10/18/09). You will receive a "notification" letter that is sort of a "head's up" that your tag receipt is coming. The tag receipts should follow in the mail the next day. As we have emailed you before, you can go to your local tag office, show them your Drivers License and let them know you were part of the original 1,000 applicants that paid your $25 Manufacturing Fee and your name is on the list of those original applications. The tag is under Category "SE" for "Seminole Club." You can pay your $25 fee for the Specialty Tag. They will issue you a temporary operating permit and mail your tag to you.
