FSU-Miami Weekend

Good morning Club Leaders!

There are a lot of exciting events happening in Tallahassee this weekend!

This Friday we have the Seminole Club Seminar taking place at the FSU Alumni Association’s Rendina room from 1:30-3 p.m. We also have the FSU Clubbie Awards happening from 3-5 p.m. where we will be honoring our top Seminole Club & Seminole Club leaders. Then, don’t forget to join the FSU Alumni Association for food, fun and Seminole spirit at our Football Friday Open House from 5-7 p.m.

For those of you who haven’t been to Tallahassee in a while, there are a variety of other new things happening around town! Tallahassee’s Midtown area has a number of restaurants, bars and shops for you to explore and go unwind! Not to mention, 24 participating businesses located in the Midtown and Market Street area are donating a percentage of their Friday sales to Kidz1stFund. Last but not least… who could forget about one of the biggest games of the season?!? Come cheer on the No. 3 Seminoles as we take on the No. 7 Hurricanes this Saturday at 8 p.m. in Doak Campbell Stadium!

Hello there Seminole Club leaders!

Is it Friday yet!? Cause we can’t wait to celebrate our top Seminole Clubs and Seminole Club leaders at the 2013 FSU Clubbie Awards!

We have an afternoon chock-full of surprises to thank you for all the hard work you do for FSU! So if you’re a Seminole Club leader, don’t miss out on this event! There’s still time to register and get in on the action!

Oh, & one more thing…

Make sure to be on the lookout during halftime of the FSU vs. Miami game where the winners for Club of the Year will be honored with on-field recognition at Doak Campbell Stadium! We will also be recognizing all of our Seminole Clubs and thanking them on the War Board!

So come out and join us this Friday from 3- 5 p.m. as we celebrate you and your Seminole Club!

Miami Weekend

Hi Club leaders! We have several announcements for you.

First, there are a lot of events happening at the FSU Alumni Association Friday, Nov. 1!

The Seminole Club Seminar will be taking place in the Rendina Room from 1:30-3 p.m. Some topics which will be discussed during this workshop are Club financials, group exemption updates, D&O insurance coverage 101, upcoming events, and how to maximize your game watch venue.

The FSU Clubbie Awards will begin promptly from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Rendina Room. Here we will be honoring our top Seminole Clubs and Seminole Clubs leaders.

Once the ceremony has concluded, make sure to join the FSU Alumni Association for a Football Friday Open House at the Alumni Center from 5-7 p.m.

Lastly, we are happy to announce that the November 2 FSU vs. Miami game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. kickoff. While the tickets are officially sold out, we hope you cheer on the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles as they take on the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes!

Announcing Membership Mania Winners!

We are pleased to announce the winners of the FSU Alumni Association’s Membership Mania contest!

The contest was created to see which Seminole Club could generate the greatest percentage increase in Alumni Association memberships. The finalists are: Seminole Club of North Texas, Martin County Seminole Club, Richmond Seminole Club and Sarasota Seminole Club.

Due to these Seminole Club’s hard work and dedication, their club will receive a scholarship grant ranging from $500- $2,500 to support a FSU student(s) from their local area!

Top Four Prizes
First place – $2,500
Second place – $2,000
Third place – $1,000
Fourth place – $500

Be sure to mark your calendars and RSVP for this year’s FSU Clubbie Awards on Friday, November 1, from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Alumni Center’s Rendina room. During this ceremony we will unveil the final standings of Membership Mania and present the winners with their scholarship grant.

Countdown to Clubbies!

The official countdown has begun, and there are 4 weeks until the 2013 FSU Clubbie Awards are underway! The FSU Clubbie Awards Ceremony is an exclusive, free to attend event for Seminole Club Officers and Board Members. We will be using this night to honor our top Seminole Clubs and Seminole Club Leaders, as well as announce the Club of the Year award winners and the top winner of the Membership Mania contest.

The Clubbie Awards will take place on Friday, November 1, in the Rendina Room at the FSU Alumni Center. There will be a workshop and information session from 1:30-3:00 pm, with the awards ceremony immediately following from 3:00-5:00 pm.
