Mark your calendars for the Fourth Annual Seminole Service Day!

In 2012, the FSU Alumni Association created a national day of service for Seminole Clubs® and Chapters. The goal was to show pride for Florida State University and leave an impression on our local communities. Each year since then Seminole Clubs® and Chapters from across the nation collaborate to give back to their hometowns. We couldn’t be more proud of how our Seminole Clubs® and Chapters have represented FSU in their communities.

This year’s Seminole Service Day will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Clubs and Chapters will gather to dedicate a day of service and show pride in FSU, their community and the nation.

Seminole Service Day is a day to give of your time and talent; not treasure. Remember: This is NOT a fundraising event and should not require significant financial commitment of club or chapter funds. For more information, visit the Seminole Service Day webpage or download our 2015 Seminole Service Day Guide to help with event planning, marketing and follow-up.

Make sure to promote your club or chapter’s project in your area by using our 2015 Sample Seminole Service Day press release. Yellow highlighted texts indicate where changes can be made with information about your club or chapter’s Service Day project.

Be sure your Seminole Service Day project is included in the marketing mix by submitting project details to Alumni Association staff by 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 12. Fill out a marketing request form now!

Don’t forget: All Seminole Clubs® are required to host a Seminole Service Day project. To help get some ideas for a service project, visit our 2014 Seminole Service Day or 2013 Seminole Service Day webpages. If your club or chapter is looking for suggestions on projects, please let Alumni Association staff help.
